But this simply isn't the case.
While it is true that I, Sir Francis Bacon, 1st Viscount St Albans, better known as Lord Verulam, am a frequent patron of libraries and greatly enjoy historical and philosophical works, not to mention poetry, I am first and foremost a politician. I've served as an attorney general, not to mention my current position as Lord Chancellor of England. I'm credited as one of the founders of the scientific method, and rightfully so, as I've made it a goal in my life to gather and analyze data for the sole purpose of unlocking the secrets of the universe. Or something like that.
Look what I'm trying to say here is that the life of me, Sir Francis Bacon, 1st Viscount St Albans, aka Lord Verulam, is way, way, way too busy to leave me any room for anything BUT my work. I barely had enough time today to create this blog post, let alone write and produce decades worth of plays. Hell, many of them span hundreds of hundreds of pages. Do you understand how much time and effort and trial and error goes into writing a play? I don't since I've never written a play before in my entire life, but I imagine it's a grueling process.
So yeah, that's basically all I wanted to say. I, Sir Francis Bacon, 1st Viscount St Albans, Lord Verulam, am not William Shakespeare. You all should have believed Mrs. Shakespeare went she made it crystal clear that we are two different people. Hopefully now that you've heard it straight from the man himself, you all will be at peace, and can stop bugging all three of us in the near future.
Seriously, I mean it, shut up.
Love,
Sir Francis Bacon, 1st Viscount St Albans
Lord Verulam
